Interac e-Transfer for Alberta iGaming

Reviewed by Alberta Gambling Guide editorial teamUpdated Checked

Interac e-Transfer is a money-transfer service, offered by Interac Corp., that lets a person send or receive money using only the recipient's email address or mobile number linked to an account at a participating Canadian financial institution. Interac states it's supported by more than 250 participating financial institutions across Canada — it's a national payment rail, not something specific to Alberta or to gambling.

Which Alberta operators offer it

This publication has not yet independently verified which Alberta-registered iGaming operators support Interac e-Transfer as a deposit or withdrawal method. Rather than assume it's universal, we say so directly: per-operator payment-method testing is still pending. See the operator registry for what's currently documented for each operator.

For the general payment-methods picture, see the payments hub. For Alberta's registered iGaming suppliers — including payment providers registered directly with the AGLC — see the suppliers dataset.
