Registered iGaming suppliers in Alberta

Operators aren't the only entities Alberta requires to register: anyone supplying goods or services to an iGaming site must also register with the AGLC under section 49.2 of the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act. The table below lists every such registrant that isn't itself registered as an "iGaming - Operator" — sourced directly from the AGLC's Gaming Registrants export.

What the classes mean

AGLC's registrant classes describe the kind of supplier, self-declared through the registration process:

• iGaming - Critical Gaming Systems Provider — provides the core gaming/RNG systems behind operator products.
• iGaming - Platform Provider — provides the platform an operator's site runs on.
• iGaming Goods or Services Supplier - Other — everything else the AGLC's export doesn't break into the classes above: this publication has found testing and integrity labs, sports-data and odds providers, and payment processors in this bucket.

A single entity can hold more than one class. This dataset does not attempt to sub-categorize the "Other" class further than the AGLC's own registrant export does — this publication doesn't infer a supplier's specific role from its name.
