Betty Casino Alberta Review

The help centre lists debit or credit cards (Visa or Mastercard, prepaid included), Interac e-Transfer and Apple Pay on the Betty app for deposits. For withdrawals it lists Visa and Interac e-Transfer, paid to a method in your name, and says Mastercard is not available. The terms add that withdrawals go back by the deposit method where possible, and otherwise Betty asks for a second account and proof you hold it.

Clause 3.5 of the terms also names EFT and wire transfer among the funding methods, which the help articles do not list. Interac deposits start on Betty's site and are then confirmed in your bank's app, according to the help centre.

Deposits

The minimum deposit is $1, according to the help centre. The terms say minimum and maximum limits may be applied to deposits depending on your history, the method and other factors, and give no figures. Payments must come from an account in your own name.

Withdrawals and limits

The minimum withdrawal is $1 and the maximum is $9,999 per transaction. There is no daily withdrawal limit, and the help centre says larger amounts can be split into several transactions. It also says your bank or account plan may add its own limits.

How long withdrawals take

The home page says over 90% of withdrawals are processed immediately and reach your bank within minutes, and that Betty will contact you within 24 hours if it needs more information. Those are the operator's own claims. The terms are more cautious: clause 11.4 allows up to five business days of internal processing, and delays for a security review.

Clause 11.4 adds that jackpot prizes may be credited at once but are checked with the game suppliers before release, and a security review can take up to 10 business days. Clause 3.6 lets Betty decline a withdrawal request within 14 days after a card deposit. No help article gives a timing figure, so we have none for the payments table.

Fees

The help centre says Betty charges no fee for deposits or withdrawals, though your bank or card provider may. Clause 3.7 puts any such handling charge on you, and clause 11.6 says wire and card transfers may incur bank handling fees, so the amount you receive may differ from what you requested.

The Alberta home page calls Betty Canada's online slots casino and says it offers 500+ real money slot games in Alberta, while the same page speaks of thousands of online slots from top providers. The App Store and Google Play listings both say over 4,500 casino slot games. We did not open the lobby, so we can't tell you which count applies in Alberta.

Titles and providers

The App Store listing names Sugar Rush, Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus among its slots. No Alberta page we captured names a software provider, and none lists blackjack, roulette, baccarat or live dealer games. Treat Betty as a slots site and check the lobby for anything else.

Return to player

The responsible-gaming page explains return to player in general terms, using a 96% example, and says slots run on a random number generator. It publishes no figure for any Betty game.

The App Store listing names Betty Gaming, Inc as the seller, and the Google Play listing names the developer as Betty Canada, with 100K+ downloads. The home page says the app is available on both iOS and Android.

Both listings say the app is made for players in Ontario and Alberta, say Betty is licensed by both Ontario's AGCO and AGLC, and carry an Alberta notice that you must be 18 or older to gamble there, with the GameSense help line. The listing seller is a different company name from the Betty Gaming CA Ltd. in the Alberta terms, so check the listing before you install.

The help articles point to LiveChat and an email address, support@betty.ca. The home page says the support team is on standby 24/7, with no bots, which is the operator's own wording. We found no phone number for general support, so the phone lines on its pages belong to outside agencies.

Formal complaints

Clause 30 says complaints go to complaints@betty.ca in writing as soon as reasonably practicable. Betty says it will aim to reply within 14 days of receipt and resolve a dispute in no more than 90 days, and will share the data sources behind a bet outcome on request.

If you are not satisfied, you can contact Alberta iGaming Corporation, which asks for your original complaint and Betty's response. For gaming irregularities the terms give AGLC's number, 1-800-742-7818.

Age, accounts and location

Clause 2 allows use of the Services only if you are 18 or over and located in Alberta, and clause 6.9 has you confirm that you are physically in the province while wagering. Clause 4 allows one account per person and lets Betty close duplicates. Clause 3.2 asks for your name, address, email, gender, birth date, occupation and phone number, and for disclosure of any politically exposed person or head of international organization status.

Clause 19 describes the location check. On a computer it uses an IP address and WiFi signal, and on a phone it uses carrier cell tower and WiFi signal. If either method cannot confirm you, you cannot play. Clause 6.11 adds that if Betty or its providers cannot track your location for any reason, you may be prevented from using the Services.

Documents

Clause 3.1 says you can bet only once your identity has been verified and you have funded your account. Clause 4 says the account name must match your legal name and the name on the cards or accounts you deposit from, and lets Betty ask at any time for proof of identity, such as a passport, identity card or payment cards, and proof of address, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement.

Clause 4 also warns that identity checks may affect your credit report, and clause 21 allows a security review at any time, with restricted access if you fail to supply what it asks for. The help articles we captured give no document list or timeframe.

Inactivity and closing

Clause 12 treats an account with no activity for one year as dormant, and says you can avoid that by logging in and making a real money wager, deposit or withdrawal. The responsible-gaming page says you close an account at Account, My Profile, Close Account, and can reverse that by contacting customer service.

Limits

The help centre lists deposit, loss and playtime limits, each set daily, weekly or monthly in the Account, Responsible Gaming section. The daily period runs from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm, the week from Sunday to Saturday and the month is the calendar month. Wins in the period count toward a loss limit.

A more restrictive change takes effect immediately, while raising or removing a limit waits for a 24-hour cooling-off period that cannot be shortened. Playtime limits are set in increments of at least one hour.

Timeouts and exclusion

During a timeout you cannot play or deposit, but you can still log in and withdraw your balance, and the account cannot reopen until the period ends. Self-exclusion logs you out at once, removes you from marketing and keeps the account closed until you ask for reinstatement in writing. AGLC central self-exclusion

The help centre describes AGLC's Centralized Self-Exclusion Program as a voluntary commitment to step away from all Alberta iGaming platforms and land-based casinos and racing centres for 6 months, 1, 2 or 3 years. It is open to anyone 18 or older, needs no player account and cannot be cancelled or changed once signed. The program line is 1-844-468-8034, and the email is se@aglc.ca.

Clause 25.2 says Betty participates in the program and that AGLC's terms prevail on it. The terms also say your Betty self-exclusion and your AGLC one run separately.

Help and reminders

The responsible-gaming page links GameSense, whose info line is 1-833-447-7523 with hours on the page, Alberta Gamblers Anonymous, the Responsible Gambling Council and CAMH. Betty says it partners with Birches Health for self-guided exercises and a calculator, and sends a monthly activity notification and quarterly reminders to review your limits.

Betty Casino holds an AGLC "iGaming - Operator" registration.

The site is operated by Betty Gaming CA Ltd.

AGLC's registrant list shows Betty Gaming CA, Ltd. as an iGaming - Operator running to July 13, 2027, with Betty.ca printed beside the name. AiGC's Registered iGaming Sites directory lists Betty Casino, with Betty Gaming CA Ltd. as the operator.

What Betty itself says

The terms say Alberta's iGaming Corporation conducts and manages the Services and that Betty Gaming is appointed to operate them as its agent, under Betty's registration with AGLC. The home page says Betty is licensed and regulated by AGLC and managed by AiGC. Clause 31 makes Alberta law govern the agreement, with the exclusive jurisdiction of Alberta courts.

The company address in the terms is in Toronto, and the home FAQ says Betty is based in Ontario. The footer on the Alberta home page names the AGCO and iGaming Ontario, and the app listings say the casino is licensed by both Ontario's AGCO and AGLC, so the Ontario wording appears alongside the Alberta wording.

Our recheck

We fetched every Betty page for this review on 28 October 2026 from Limassol, Cyprus, which is not an Alberta connection, and the Alberta pages loaded. The limit of this check is that we have no capture from an Alberta connection, and we did not open an account.
