How to report an error

Email [email protected] with the page URL and what you believe is wrong, ideally with a source we can check. See contact for our only current channel.

What happens next

We review every report against our editorial policy sourcing rules. When we confirm an error, we correct it and note the date the correction was made directly on the affected page. We do not promise a fixed response time, because verifying a claim properly — against a primary source, not just the report itself — sometimes takes longer than a quick edit would. We would rather be right than fast.
