DAZN Bet Alberta Review

The terms refer to sports betting and to a casino product, and the site navigation we captured lists Sports and Casino. We did not capture a games lobby, so we can't tell you which providers, slots, table games or live dealer rooms DAZN Bet offers to Alberta players.

Payout caps

For sports betting, the terms cap total winnings at $250,000 in a calendar day, however much you stake. For casino, the cap is $100,000 for any one wager, spin or transaction, and it does not cover progressive jackpots, table games or instant-win games. The terms say a limit like this applies whatever you appear to have won.

Voided bets

Once DAZN Bet accepts a bet or wager you cannot change or cancel it, and a bet only counts once it shows in your Bet History as an Open Bet. DAZN Bet can void transactions affected by an error, malfunction or interruption, or by suspected match fixing or rigging. If an interruption hits a single-participant, single-stage event before an outcome is generated, the terms say your stake is returned.

The terms say DAZN Bet accepts transactions made online, including through its mobile applications, and not by email or chat. We did not capture a market list or odds, so we can't say which sports or bet types are offered beyond what the terms mention.

Who cannot bet

People with non-public information about an event, athletes, coaches, referees and owners connected to the event are not allowed to bet on it. The terms also bar anyone who can influence the outcome from receiving winnings.

Event integrity

If there is reasonable suspicion of rigging or manipulation, or unusual betting patterns, DAZN Bet may suspend markets and void the affected transactions or hold settlement until an investigation ends. If no fraud is found, the terms say settlement is completed.

On the Canadian App Store, DAZN Bet ON: Sports & Casino is listed under seller DZBT Limited, but its description is written for Ontario players. We found no Alberta DAZN Bet app on the Apple or Google Play searches, so we don't list one.

The terms do mention mobile applications in general, so an Alberta app may exist or may follow. Until a listing names Alberta, use the website, and check the store listing's own wording before you install anything.

The terms say you can contact DAZN Bet through its live chat function, by email at support@daznbet.com, or through a Submit a request page. They do not state support hours, so we don't claim any.

Complaints

Complaints go to chat or to support@daznbet.com. DAZN Bet says it acknowledges a complaint within 24 hours and aims to resolve it within 28 days, and tells you if it needs longer. If you accept a proposed resolution, it asks you to say so within 7 working days.

If you are unhappy with the outcome you can request an appeal, which is investigated at an escalated level with a final response within eight weeks. After that you can take the complaint to Alberta iGaming Corporation through the contact page on its website, and DAZN Bet's page says AiGC's outcome is binding and final.

Regulator and data requests

To report a possible breach of AGLC's iGaming requirements by an operator, the complaints page gives AGLC's line as 1-800-742-7818. Requests about personal information DAZN Bet holds go to dataprotectionofficer@daznbet.com. It says it keeps complaint records for at least three years.

Age, identity and location

The terms say you must be 18 or older, physically in Alberta, and acting only for yourself. You cannot open an account if you are in a self-exclusion process, are a prohibited person, or previously had an account DAZN Bet closed. Only one account is permitted per customer.

Registration asks for your name, address, email, gender, birth date, occupation and phone number, and for you to say whether you are a domestic or foreign politically exposed person. DAZN Bet says its checks use third-party suppliers.

The responsible-gaming page adds that age and address verification must be finished within 72 hours of your first attempted deposit. If automatic checks fail, it says it tries manual checks, and may block play and stop withdrawals until your age and identity are confirmed. Proof of age and identity documents may be needed.

Location checks

DAZN Bet says it uses a third-party supplier that looks at your IP address, WiFi signal and mobile carrier tower to confirm you are inside Alberta. If it cannot confirm your location, you will not be allowed to use the services. Using a VPN or otherwise accessing the site from a restricted territory is listed as a prohibited activity.

Deposits

Every deposit must be in Canadian dollars. DAZN Bet does not charge for deposits, though your bank or payment provider may. You must deposit from your own debit card, credit card or online payment service, and the name on it must match your account. DAZN Bet does not offer credit and does not allow transfers between accounts.

Prepaid cards are allowed, capped at $250 a week and five prepaid products a week on a rolling seven-day basis. Which cards and wallets it accepts is not listed in the pages we captured, so check the cashier.

Withdrawals

You can withdraw a cleared balance, subject to internal processing of up to five business days. DAZN Bet runs a closed-loop process: if your deposit method cannot take withdrawals, it needs full verification of any other method, and it reserves the right to decide which method pays you. The standard minimum is $10, and customers with less can ask support to withdraw the full balance.

Withdrawals are not charged by DAZN Bet. Delays in sending requested documents can slow a withdrawal, and investigations into errors or suspected prohibited activity can pause one.

Closing the account

You can close your account at any time under My Account settings, and the responsible-gaming page also says to contact customer service by live chat. Unsettled bets stand after closure, and DAZN Bet says it treats an account as dormant after 12 consecutive months without a login, with no administrative fee.

Limits and reminders

You can set deposit and loss limits at registration or later in My Account, over 24 hours, 7 days or one month, and the lowest applies. A decrease takes effect at once, while an increase has a 24-hour cool-off. Session time limits work the same way, in hours per day, week or month.

Session reminders show how long a single session has run, and you must acknowledge the reminder, then continue playing or exit the game. The page tells you to contact customer support through live chat or email to manage limits, and it also links to My Account.

Breaks and exclusion

Time-outs run for 24 hours, one week, one month, two months or three months. They take effect immediately and cannot be overridden. For longer protection the page points to the Alberta centralized self-exclusion program, which lets you exclude from all licensed operators at once for six months, one year, two years or three years.

DAZN Bet holds an AGLC "iGaming - Operator" registration.

The site is operated by DZBT Marketing Limited.

AGLC's registrant list shows DZBT Marketing Limited as an iGaming - Operator running to July 13, 2027, with ab.daznbet.ca printed beside the name. AiGC's directory lists DAZN Bet Sportsbook and Casino and links to ab.daznbet.ca.

What DAZN Bet itself says

The terms say DZBT Marketing Limited is registered in Gibraltar, is licensed and regulated by AGLC, and was appointed by AiGC to operate the services on its behalf as an agent. The footer gives company registration number 122060 and AGLC registration number 120545.

The terms also say DAZN Bet does not owe you a duty of care in respect of its compliance with regulatory obligations, including safer gambling.

Our recheck

When we rechecked the site on 16 October 2026 from outside Canada, every page returned a Country blocked message. Everything in this review that comes from DAZN Bet's own pages rests on the 20 September 2026 capture, which was made from an unconfirmed location (its capture record lists the network region as unverified).
