Editorial verdict
Horseshoe Casino runs under an AGLC iGaming operator registration, with deposit, spend, loss, single-wager and time limits and AGLC's centralized self-exclusion. The catch: its terms name no payment methods or minimum deposit, and one agreement covers three Caesars platforms.

Casino
The Horseshoe pages we captured name no game titles, providers or counts, and the terms point to each game's information section for its rules.
What we could capture
The AiGC directory card gives horseshoeonlinecasino.com/ca/ab/casino as the visit address. In our capture that page printed a message that the casino had failed to load, so we use no lobby, game or provider fact from it. We quote no lobby size and no live dealer or sportsbook offering.
Game rules and results
The terms say additional and general rules for a specific casino game may be found in the information section of that game, and that the terms prevail if they conflict with game rules. They add that if the result showing on the Software differs from the result on the company's server, the server result governs.
Betting techniques the terms prohibit
The terms prohibit betting techniques the company considers intended to circumvent its house edge or table limits, naming manipulation of the game software, card counting and systems of progressive betting. They define irregular play to include even money bets on opposing sides of any casino game and wagers that include 70% or more of all possible outcomes.
Horseshoe Casino app
We found no Horseshoe app link for Alberta on the captured pages, so we show no iPhone or Android listing.
What the pages say
The Get The App page says 'Download the app on your mobile device' and lists steps to sign up, without naming a store or showing a store link in the captured text. The terms say that to use a mobile application you download it from your device's app store, and the privacy policy refers to mobile betting applications available for use in Alberta.
The Apple lookup record
Apple's Canadian lookup record for Horseshoe Online Casino shows the seller Computerized Bookmaking Systems, Inc., version 8.10.0, a current version dated 14 October 2026, a requirement of iOS 17.0 and an age label of 17+. Its description says availability varies by province and that Alberta real-money features 'will be available beginning July 13, 2026'.
The seller is not the entity AGLC lists, the age label differs from the casino's 21 rule and the description is not specific to Alberta, so we do not present the record as the Alberta app.
Android
We have no Google Play capture for Horseshoe Casino, so we show no Android listing and no store ratings.
Customer support
The About Us page says Customer Support is available 7 days a week and lists live chat, a web form and a phone number.
The Alberta About Us page says Customer Support is available 7 days a week and that chat gives the quickest response. It lists live chat, the Caesars web form and the phone number +1 855 605 6945, and gives no daily hours. The terms print one phone number for each platform, with +1 855-605-6945 for Horseshoe Online Casino.
Complaint stages
The Patron Protection policy sets three stages. Stage 1 is the web form, with a reply by email. Stage 2 is escalation to a Customer Support Manager through the web form, including the jurisdiction of your account (Alberta), your name, the email on the account and the details of your complaint.
Stage 3 is AiGC at abigaming.ca/about/contact/. The policy says AiGC requires customers to try to resolve a dispute directly with Caesars first, and that you will need to give AiGC a copy of your original dispute and the resolution you were offered.
Written complaints and arbitration
The terms say you must submit your complaint in writing as soon as reasonably practicable after the original transaction, using the web form or by mail to Customer Service, 6325 S. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89118, USA. The terms are governed by the laws of Alberta.
Unresolved claims go to confidential arbitration by a single arbitrator seated in Calgary, Alberta, under ICDR Canada's Canadian Arbitration Rules, in English. The terms exclude matters within the AiGC complaint process or the jurisdiction of AiGC or AGLC, and say you waive a trial by judge or jury.

Account and verification
You must be 21 or older and physically in Alberta, and the terms describe identity, address, payment-card and location checks.
Age
The terms, the privacy policy, the Patron Protection policy and the footer all set the minimum age at 21. The responsible-gaming page says that in Alberta it is unlawful for anyone under 18 to take part in sports wagering or iGaming, and the Patron Protection policy refers to someone under 19. We use the casino's own 21 rule and attribute the other ages to their pages.
Registration and documents
Registration asks for an account name and password, first and last name, physical address, email, gender, birth date and telephone number. The name on your account must match your legal name and your payment accounts. The company may ask for a valid passport or other identity card, a photo of you holding it, proof of address such as a recent utility bill or bank statement, and any payment cards used.
The terms add that you consent to age and identity verification, which may negatively affect your credit report, and may not hold more than one account on any platform. A security review can be run at any time.
Identity providers
The privacy policy names LexisNexis as the Know Your Client provider. If you do not pass the automated ID screening, it names GeoComply for secondary reviews, using IDVerse or Incode, which it says delete biometric data within thirty days and do not pass that biometric data to the company.
Location checks
The terms require you to be physically in Alberta at the time of use. On a computer the check uses IP address and Wi-Fi signal, and on a mobile device carrier cell tower and Wi-Fi signal. The terms say you will not be allowed to use the Services if the location is not confirmed, that the company cannot guarantee your device will pass, and that you consent to monitoring and recording of geographic location information.
Funding your account
Payments are in Canadian dollars, bear no interest and must come from a source in your own name. The terms list a deposit account, a registered and verified card, a reloadable prepaid card, winnings, adjustments and other lawful means, and name no payment brand. They print no minimum deposit, say limits may be applied depending on your history and the funding method, and cap transactions at $10,000 per day, funding and withdrawals together.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals may be paid by the method used to fund the account, and card-funded accounts may see a request declined within fourteen (14) days of funding. Payment is by cheque, wire, credit card or another manner the company selects, as soon as practicable, subject to up to 72 hours of internal processing time and any security review delay.
Withdrawals are subject to transaction limits and processing fees the company notifies before you cash out, and the terms tell you to use the web form or phone for current options and fees. You are responsible for your financial institution's charges.
Closing, suspending and inactive accounts
You may close your account on seven (7) days' notice, and the company may end the agreement on seven (7) days' notice by email. An account is deemed Inactive after three years (36 months) without use or funding, and a Dormant Account's funds may be subject to escheatment under unclaimed property legislation.
- Identity verification: Horseshoe Online Casino's terms set the minimum age at 21. Registration asks for an account name and password, first and last name, physical address, email, gender, birth date and telephone number. The terms say the company may ask for a valid passport or other identity card, a photo of you holding it, proof of address such as a recent utility bill or bank statement, and any payment cards used. You consent to age and identity checks, and one account is allowed. (Horseshoe Online Casino (external site))
- Location verification: Horseshoe Online Casino's terms require you to be physically in Alberta when you use the Services. A computer's location is checked using IP address and Wi-Fi signal and a mobile device's using carrier cell tower and Wi-Fi signal, and the terms say you will not be allowed to use the Services if the location is not confirmed. You consent to monitoring and recording of geographic location information. (Horseshoe Online Casino (external site))
Responsible-gambling tools
Horseshoe Casino lists deposit, spend, loss, single-wager and time limits, cool-off periods and its own self-exclusion, and points to AGLC's centralized program.
Limits
The responsible-gaming page lists deposit limits, spend limits and a betting loss limit, each daily, weekly or monthly, plus a single wager limit and a maximum daily time logged in. To set them, go to My Account, then Responsible Gambling, then Gaming Limits.
A daily limit runs from midnight to midnight, a weekly limit from Monday midnight to the next Monday midnight and a monthly limit by calendar month. Activity before a limit is set counts toward it. The page says limits may be decreased at any time with immediate effect and that increases are subject to a mandatory waiting period, and it gives no length.
Time-outs and cool-offs
The responsible-gaming page lists cool-off periods of 1, 7, 30, 60 or 90 days. The terms give a different figure: you may set daily limits or place your name on the Internet self-exclusion list, and the minimum time-out period is 72 hours. We show both and have not matched them.
Self-exclusion
The page describes Caesars' own program for six (6) months, one (1) year or five (5) years, or permanently, which applies to all Caesars platforms. You are logged out immediately, wagers on events not yet started are refunded, and wagers on events already started are not. You may request the unused balance. The terms mention only the 72-hour minimum time-out.
The page also points to AGLC's Centralized Self-Exclusion, which covers all registered iGaming platforms in Alberta through a single enrollment. The terms say that if you use a self-exclusion tool you may not open an account with another Company Group company during the period.
- Deposit Limits — Daily, weekly and monthly maximum deposit amounts.

- Limit timing and changes — A daily limit runs from midnight to midnight, a weekly limit from Monday midnight to the next Monday midnight and a monthly limit by calendar month. Activity before a limit is set counts toward it. Limits may be decreased at any time with immediate effect, and increases are subject to a mandatory waiting period.
- Caesars self-exclusion — A voluntary exclusion for six (6) months, one (1) year or five (5) years, or permanently. You are logged out immediately and cannot log in or place bets for the period, and the request applies to all Caesars platforms. Enrol through My Account or by email to responsiblegaming@caesarssportsbook.com.
- AGLC Centralized Self-Exclusion — The page points to AGLC's Centralized Self-Exclusion tool, which lets players self-exclude across all registered iGaming platforms in Alberta through a single enrollment process.
- Help lines — GameSense at gamesenseab.ca or 1-833-447-7523, Alberta Health Services Addiction and Mental Health on 1-877-303-2642, and 211 Alberta (ab.211.ca). The page footer lists GameSenseAB.ca and the Alberta Mental Health Help Line at 1-877-303-2642.

Our recheck
We fetched the terms, responsible-gaming, About Us and Get The App pages on 16 October 2026 from Limassol, Cyprus, which is not an Alberta connection, and they loaded. The visit address on AiGC's card printed a load error, and the FAQ and contact addresses we tried returned a not-found page, so we use none of them. We have no capture from an Alberta connection and did not open an account.
